Thank you for your interest in working with us at Twee. We look forward to working together in the future and hope you’ll bear with us as we figure out exactly how all this works! Please supply the following information: Please have a retail price associated with each item you are wanting to put on consignment. CONSIGNMENT CONTRACT 1. How to prepare your items: All items to be sold must have an attached price tag (The more professional packaging and tagging, they better things sell!) with either your name, initials or business name on it along with the retail price. If you would like a detailed sales report all items must be assigned a number that is written on the tag and corresponds to the inventory sheet attached. If there is no number you will get a more generalized report of your sales. 2. Terms of consignment: All items will be sold for an agreed-upon retail price. The consignor receives 60% of the sale price and Twee retains 40%. 3. Consignment duration: Both parties agree that the items listed on the inventory sheet will be for sale for the retail price listed on the inventory sheet until you are notified that Twee will start a sale process. At this time, you are welcome to take any items back that have not sold for the prices originally set. The terms for the sale process are as follows: Once you are notified that your items will go on sale, you have the option of coming to Twee to remove your items, or after 30 days they will go on sale for one month at 25% off the original price listed. The second month after you have been notified your items will go on sale for 50% off for the duration of 1 month. The third month after you were notified your items will go on sale for 75% off for the duration of 1 month. If your items have not sold after this they will be sold at whatever price Twee sees fit OR will be donated to a local charity. 4. Payment terms: Sales totals will be compiled once a month, at a time to be determined between Twee and consignor. Consignor can choose payment via check in the mail or come in to the store and pick it up. Checks will be issued after commissions total $40. 5. Shipping charges: The consignor is responsible for all shipping charges, unless Twee voluntarily returns items to the cosignor. 6. Loss, Theft & Damage: Twee agrees to maintain general liability on all products in the store, however, small incidences may not be covered due to policy deductibles. The Uniform Commercial Code states that when there is inventory damage that is due to the store's negligence, the store must pay for the loss. If the harm is not the store's fault (flood, fire, theft, etc.), the store is not liable. However, some damages may be recoverable. **We will email the inventory sheet after we have contacted you |
